Research and Development

Outokumpu's R&D facilities have extensive experience of both product and process development which can be brought to bear on customer's challenges. Even though stainless steel is a mature material, new grades are constantly being developed especially in the areas of formability, high and ultra-high strength areas, opening up the opportunity for customers to use stainless steel in areas of their designs previously thought impossible.

Service Centres

Recognising that not all customers have the facility to either take large quantities of stainless steel or to form certain profiles and sizes, Outokumpu has established a network of service centres capable of providing small batches of high quality tailored material formed to meet their specific requirements.
